What we do

Coverage that fits.
Structure that lasts.

We are appointed across the full product line, so we start with your situation and work toward the product. Which one fits depends on your age, your health, your budget, and what you want the money to do.

01

Term Life

Coverage for a set number of years, usually ten to thirty. It is the lowest cost way to cover a mortgage or replace income while the kids are still at home, and mortgage protection is simply term sized to the loan. There is no cash value, and when the term ends the coverage ends unless the policy is renewed or converted.

02

Whole Life

Permanent coverage with a premium that does not change and a guaranteed cash value that grows on a schedule written into the contract. Some policies are eligible for dividends, which are not guaranteed. The premium is several times what term costs for the same death benefit, so it only works if you can hold it for decades.

03

Indexed Universal Life (IUL)

Permanent coverage with a flexible premium and a cash value account credited based on the movement of a market index. Most designs include a floor, so a down index year is not credited as a loss, though policy charges still apply. Caps and participation rates vary by carrier, and an underfunded policy can run out of value.

04

Final Expense

Smaller permanent policies built to cover funeral costs, unpaid medical bills, and other end-of-life expenses. Underwriting is usually simpler than a fully underwritten policy. The cost per dollar of coverage is high, and approval, benefit amount, and pricing still depend on your age, your health, and the carrier.

05

Annuities

A contract with a carrier that turns savings into retirement income you cannot outlive. Income can start right away or years later, depending on how the contract is written. Terms, fees, and surrender periods vary by contract, and money you commit is usually costly to pull back out early.

06

Business and Key Person

Coverage owned by a company on an owner or an employee the business cannot easily replace, plus buy-sell funding so a partner's share does not end up in the wrong hands. It takes paperwork the business has to keep current, and the numbers should be reviewed with your attorney or CPA.

Tax services

Coverage and taxes,
handled together.

Imperial Group prepares tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Most agencies hand you a policy and never see your return, and most preparers file your return without knowing what you own. We do both, so the two line up.

Federal and state returns, filed electronically

Flat pricing quoted before we start, never a surprise

Year round, not just in April

Individuals

Personal returns

W-2 income, dependents, itemized deductions, side income, and the 1099s that show up when you did not expect them. Straightforward filings and complicated ones.

Businesses

Small business returns

Sole proprietors, single member LLCs, and S corporations. Schedule C, contractor income, mileage and home office, and the deductions people miss because nobody asked them the right question.

Together

Why it matters that we do both

How a permanent policy is funded and how loans against it are handled both carry tax consequences. When the person who filed your return is the same person who built the policy, that conversation happens before you sign, not the following April.

Imperial Group Services LLC is not a CPA firm and nothing on this page is tax advice. We prepare returns based on the documents and information you give us, and we work alongside CPAs, enrolled agents, and attorneys. When a situation calls for one of them, we bring them in rather than guess.

Who we help

Different lives.
Different plans.

The right policy for a thirty-two year old with two kids is not the right policy for someone winding down a business. We start with your situation, not with a product.

Young families

One income disappearing should not cost you the house. We size coverage against your mortgage, your income, and the years until the kids are on their own, then look for the carrier that prices your health fairly.

Business owners and self-employed

No group plan and no HR department behind you. We look at tax-aware strategies, key person coverage, and buy-sell funding so the business does not stall if something happens to you or your partner.

People planning a legacy

You want the money to land where you intend it to, with as little friction as possible. Permanent coverage can play a part in estate and generational transfer planning. We coordinate with your attorney or CPA when you have one.

Choosing coverage

Which type fits you,
and which one does not.

Four questions decide most cases, and none of them are about a product. Answer them honestly and the sensible options usually narrow to one or two.

  1. 01

How long does the need last?

A mortgage ends. Kids move out. A need with an end date is what term is built for. A need with no end date, like a funeral or a special needs child, is what permanent coverage is built for.

  2. 02

Is your budget fixed or growing?

Whole life asks the same premium every year for life. Indexed universal life lets you flex what you pay within limits, which helps when income is uneven and hurts badly if you underfund it.

  3. 03

Do you want cash value, and do you know what it costs?

You pay several times the term premium for the same death benefit, and the early years are the slow part. Infinite Banking is one way to use a heavily funded policy, not the answer for everyone.

  4. 04

Are you buying for a family or a business?

A business is protecting revenue, a loan guarantee, or a partner's stake. That changes who owns the policy, who collects, and how it is taxed. Get those wrong and the payout lands in the wrong place.

Where each one usually lands

Term life

Most coverage per dollar while the need still has an end date.

Not if it has to still be in force at eighty and you may not qualify again.

Whole life

A level premium and a cash value schedule written into the contract.

Not if the premium strains the budget or your horizon is short.

Indexed universal life

Flexible funding and index-linked crediting inside permanent coverage.

Not if you want guarantees, or will not fund it consistently for decades.

Final expense and annuities

One covers the first two weeks of bills. The other turns savings into income.

Not if you need that money liquid and available on short notice.

Nothing here is a recommendation for your situation. What a policy actually does depends on the contract, the carrier, your underwriting, and how consistently it is funded. Cash value growth is not guaranteed except where the contract guarantees it, and policy loans accrue interest and reduce the death benefit if they are not repaid.

How it works

A simple process.
Three steps, no pressure.

Step 1

Free call

Fifteen to thirty minutes. We ask about your income, your debts, who depends on you, and what you already have in place. No quote until we understand the picture.

Step 2

A plan built for you

We are independent, so we shop multiple A-rated carriers and compare what each one will offer someone with your age and health history. You see the options next to each other.

Step 3

Apply and get covered

We handle the application and follow the file through underwriting. Approval and final pricing are up to the carrier. Once you are covered, we review the policy with you every year.

Why Imperial

We work for you,
not for a carrier.

Independent

We are not captive to one company. We place your case with the carrier that fits it best.

Full line, not one product

We are appointed with multiple A-rated carriers across every product type we discuss, from term to annuities. An agency with one product to sell will find a reason to sell it to you.

Veteran owned and led

The agency is veteran owned. Straight answers and follow-through are the standard here, not a marketing line.

We stay after the sale

We sit down with you once a year and review the policy. Your life changes, and your coverage should keep up with it.

What to expect

No client quotes yet.
Commitments instead.

We will not print a testimonial we did not get from a real client in writing, so there are none on this page. What we can tell you is how we behave. Every line below is something we will not do to you.

We will not run your credit to quote you

Pricing comes from your age, your state, your health history, and how much coverage you want. Nothing we do to build a quote touches your credit report. Once you apply, the carrier decides what it reviews, and we will tell you what that carrier looks at before you fill anything out.

We will not sell or share your information

Your name, number, and email stay with us, and they go to a carrier only when you apply with that carrier. We do not sell lead lists, we do not trade your details to another agency, and we do not hand you off to a call center.

We will not sell you a policy your budget cannot hold

If the numbers say term, we say term, and the commission on term is smaller. A permanent policy that lapses in year three leaves you with less than the term policy you could have kept the whole time.

We will not call an illustration a promise

An illustration shows what a policy does if a set of assumptions holds. It is a projection. We will put the guaranteed column next to the projected one and tell you which parts of it the carrier is actually contractually obligated to do.

We will not chase you, and we will not invent a deadline

Say you need a week and we wait a week. Say no and that is the end of it. Real deadlines do exist, like a birthday moving you into the next age bracket, and when one of those is real we will name it. When there is not one, we will not make one up.

We will not replace a policy that is working

Bring what you already have. Sometimes the right answer is to keep it and add to it. Replacing coverage can restart a contestability period and cost you more than it saves, and we will tell you when that is the case.

We are not the right agency for everyone. If you want the lowest possible term premium and nothing else, an online quote engine will be faster than we are. If you want a guaranteed market return, nobody can sell you one and we will not pretend otherwise. If you want a policy explained until you could explain it back to us, that is the work we do.

Start with a conversation.
Decide after that.

Tell us what you are trying to protect and we will tell you what your options look like. If nothing we offer fits, we will say that too.

Questions

Fair questions,
honest answers.

How much does a policy cost?

It depends on your age, your health, the type of policy, and how much coverage you want. Term is usually the least expensive place to start, and permanent policies cost more because part of what you pay goes toward cash value. We pull real quotes from real carriers so you are looking at your numbers, not an average.

Do I need a medical exam?

Sometimes. Many carriers now offer accelerated underwriting that skips the exam for certain ages and coverage amounts. Whether you qualify depends on the carrier, the amount of coverage, and your health history, and the carrier makes that call, not us.

Which type of policy do I actually need?

Start with how long the need lasts and what your budget can carry every month without strain. A mortgage and young kids point to term. A funeral bill or an estate points to permanent. A business owner protecting a partner or a loan is a different setup again. Plenty of people end up with a mix, like a large term policy plus a small permanent one. We will walk through it with you and tell you what you do not need.

What is the difference between term and permanent coverage?

Term covers you for a set number of years, costs the least up front, and builds no cash value. Permanent coverage is meant to last for life and builds cash value, which is why it costs more. The two main permanent routes are whole life, where the premium and the cash value schedule are fixed by contract, and indexed universal life, where the premium is flexible and the cash value is credited based on an index, subject to caps and charges.

Do you write business and key person coverage?

Yes. That includes key person policies, buy-sell funding between partners, and coverage a lender asks for on a loan. The ownership, the beneficiary, and the tax treatment matter as much as the death benefit, so we sort those out with your attorney or CPA before anything is signed.

Is Infinite Banking a scam?

No, but it gets oversold. It relies on real contract features, a properly designed permanent policy and policy loans, which have existed for a long time. It goes badly when someone is sold a policy they cannot keep funding, so we would rather talk you out of it than watch it lapse in year three. It is one strategy we can build, not the only thing we do.

What states do you work in?

We work with clients nationwide. Licensing varies by state, and so does what each carrier will write there, so ask us about yours. We will tell you plainly on the call what we can and cannot do for your state.

Do you do tax returns?

Yes. Imperial Group prepares tax returns for individuals and small businesses, so the same office that helps with your coverage can handle your filing. We are not a CPA firm and nothing here is tax advice. We work alongside CPAs, enrolled agents, and attorneys, so when something belongs with one of them we bring them in, and if you already have your own we work with them. Bring your documents to the call and we will tell you plainly what we can take on.

What if I already have a policy?

Bring it to the call. We will read it with you and explain what it actually does, what it costs, and whether it still fits your situation. Replacing an existing policy is not always in your interest, and we will tell you when it is not.
